Support African states in developing robust legal, ethical, and strategic frameworks for AI governance. Promote African-led efforts to define and implement safety standards that ensure AI systems are safe, reliable, and controllable. Establish mechanisms to identify, monitor, and mitigate AI-related risks, with a strong focus on human-centered and context-sensitive approaches.
